THE SEA OF ADOLESCENCE BOOKS 1-10
ORIGIN
As a music teacher, I have always wanted to connect the lessons to my students’ lives. There were times when I would share anecdotes of my teenage experiences with middle and high school students to open their minds toward the musical films we were studying. The adolescents were on the edge of their seats as I recounted the circumstances of my coming-of-age years.
Even after the movies were watched, my students would beg me for more stories followed by endless questions. It surprised me that they were curious as to how I handled my seemingly ordinary challenges of growing into an adult, and also, I gathered that they were trying to get advice out of me through their inquiries. But time was always limited and there were vocal exercises or music theory concepts that were the priority of the moment.
So, I promised the students that I would one day tell them more stories… and now I am sharing the tales with them and anyone else that would like to listen.
How far will the Journey take the listener?
I have written books 1-10 that cover up all of my teenage years right up to the last few months of my 19th year. I will produce and release them all by the end of 2027.
